Can I bring my wiener? I won't be able to join in on the drinking shenanigans, so I'll need something to play with. I believe some of you met her on the Duluth Cruise in October. For those of you who haven't, she's floppy and very excitable!
thats cause she has more then you anyways... we know who wears the pants in my marriage... er YOUR marriage
i are still winnar of most ice races attended...... minus rich and karen..... now i just need to fix the busted suby....
well max and i finally got to see the damage i did to the clutch at last years ice race. the damage is pretty epic, ill have pics up tomorrow! i will also have a drivable suby by then! w00t!
EPIC clutch failiure! Fear this man, because if he can p'own all with this sorry excuse for a clutch, just imagine what he can do on the ice with a real one...babies will cry and women will run in fear...!
I don't see a problem.... Just don't put a Korean clutch back in. I just took one out of my wagon because it shuddered soooooo bad.
so If I want to come to have it brought...., and teh rooms are all taken.. is there a nearby hotel or something?
There are 3 motel/hotels in town about 9 miles away. Norman's Motel is the cheapest and is pretty clean & has satellite...phone number is 218-757-3291.
so what are the details on participating in this event...i dont feel like reading through the whole thread.
read first thread.. REAL HARD This is just a heads up that the ice race or driving event or whatever you want to call it will be Jan 15th-19th, We more than likely will not be having a 2nd race due to fuel to heat the cabins being allmost double from last year.Last year we spent allmost $1000 to heat the 5 cabins for the race. (Up-date: Parents were going to shut down the Resort after the 1st ice event for the winter but sounds like they will keep it open all winter and we should be able to host a 2nd event after all). I can start taking reservations now if you would like. it will be $50 per night this year due to the fuel(sorry) but that will include a fishfry saturday and lots of SAUSAGE!! deposits are not refundable so dont ask for it back if you change your mind. its $20 per car to use the course if your not staying here. If yo are paying with paypal please add the 3% paypal fee. deposit is $50 per person plus 3% fee. [email protected] is my paypal address or you can mail a check to Rich Las 4486 Deerlodge Rd Orr, MN 55771 for those who have never been to one it will be held in Orr Mn at http://www.deerlodgeresort.com ALL BEDS & COUCHES ARE FULL, WE CAN FIT ABOUT 3 PEOPLE PER CABIN ON THE FLOORS WITH SLEEPING BAGS STILL. LET US KNOW IF YOU NEED A FLOOR SPOT RESERVED. or search for threads on previous years...
huh, i guess im retarded.. i see NOTHING about participating in this event. All i see is a $50 deposit for what it looks like is a place to stay at these cabins. and a link to a resort website that has nothing to do with the icerace. I do see that it is the 15th-18th of January 2009, and it is located in Orr, MN on Pelican Lake. Which really still doesnt help me at all. If you want this to become a more popular event, or maybe you dont, i'd post all of the USEFULL, information right in the first post so i dont have to search through 27 pages of useless posts. Hopefully this clears things up, im sure there are other people wondering about the same things i am they just havent posted.
