Another note about the almost roll... I can't tell for sure if his hand is actually hanging onto the cage, but Never, ever hang on to the roll cage!!!! That would have been very not good!
instinct. you always want to grb onto something. I learned that in stage rally as I did the same thing when we rolled. I'm training myself to cross my arms against my chest if something goes wrong
lmao. So who's gonna be the first to dig up a picture of Dave in the co-driver's seat with his arms crossed and a caption reading "No more tuggy tuggy. You no listen"
lawl!!!! Na, not since OFR last year. LSPR, Sno*Drift, and 100AW...our communication has been very good...actually amazing.
nope. i had my arms crossed holding the belt thru the run and when we tipped i put my arm over to hold myself up cause i thought we were going over(first time in a harness). amys cage is only behind the seats now
Here are some more. Some of these are cars of which people have requested. A special one for the event master. ;-) View attachment 21500 View attachment 21501 View attachment 21502 View attachment 21503 Sorry Dan, it appears that I do not have a single photo of the white mustang. I will check again but its not promising.
^Okay here is a set of Car #60 w/ less cone crushing. lol View attachment 21507 View attachment 21505 View attachment 21504 View attachment 21506

^Welcome! You found us. Check back throughout the week. I can think of at least 3 people who haven't had the chance to post their pics/vids yet.
I have some more. I will try and get some more pictures up soon (not of just car 24, but others too). BTW: I really like that color white.
I wish I had more to add to the thread but my co-driver/photographer was too cold and dirty most of the day. Here are 2 runs you can actually see outside my car. Looks like I'm driving to get groceries, but 10 hours a driving really changes how aggressive you're willing to be
Message to this guy: Undertray? If so, measurements? I'm trying really hard to find a way to justify not selling my Talon.
yea yea i know i hit a lot cones out there was really trying to grab a good race line and was having some issues with the later 1/4 of the apex... MOAR PRACTICE!!
No....driving hard = cones. Driving smooth equals no cones. (I got lucky..I'll admit that one). 2nd place didn't seem too shabby considering the person that beat me was Kevin...and he's a rock star behind the wheel.
Kevin showed me what my car could really do (and that I need to upgrade the suspension, proven by the left fender gettin mashed a bit). And he did have a little bit of an advantage with the turbo and Nate's magic dust sprinkled on it. Dave, I placed right behind you. Told ya to keep an eye out for the sneaky gingers . I think next time I'll need to call up the Shibbs to do a little sabotage work.
I'll keep an eye on you...in my rear view mirror Yeah, my 100awhp kinda sucks...(I'm assuming its 100, maybe less!) I need more!!! lol
A 2.2l Automatic puts down ~102WHP on a dynojet. If you have the 5MT I would say that you would atleast be making 105WHP. ;-) Maybe next time you want to codrive my car?
Dude, if you wanna MAKE a skid plate talk to me. I and a friend fabbed a skid plate for the 80Q I raced. We were working on it up to 10:15am the day of the race, but we did it.
We'll see what happens with the car, if it doesn't sell, I'll probably put a little more appropriate suspension on it and run it... God knows it's easier and cheaper to get parts for than the Evo.
????WT*??? jap plow? dude, the talon was produced in Illinois... by Chrysler, which would make it a DOMESTIC... fail, just fail
105? Now that's some power! If you have that diff controler installed I might hit you up on that...thx for the offer!
105? wow. i think im a bit higher then that, but im not turning 4 wheels RESULTS!!! http://scca-lol.org/rally/rallyx/results/2010/2010-TaxBrake-Class.pdf
Haha. Big lol at the total times through the course changes. I think M2/M4 should be roughly comparable but then PA/SA/PF/SF/PR/SR should also be at least somewhat comparable too in their own run group, although the course did change many times. Even cars of the same run group could be somewhat iffy. I still want to beat Mark one of these days. However, I think some serious weight reduction is in order to drop the 3 seconds or so I need. Me and my car better take up jogging. Too bad I like cake and sound deadening.
