Jay = mindless sales peon, GM of Morries Subaru = probably knows enough about what cars are going in and out of his dealership to know that there isn't a Spec C. Well at this point it is easier to say ReadyMix and everyone else saying either the Spec C isn't coming to the U.S. or that the saleperson is just full of **** is most likely correct. I have "O" specs from Jay still . So I'm proably not getting any either. O well, At least is sound like there will be a STI Sedan again for 2010?.....

No. It isn't coming. The only way to get a Spec-C in the US is to visit Firestone this evening. I have 12 of them that I am giving away.
Yes, I called Jay Today and the Manager is working on the project too, It sounds like it alot of work to get the specs I'm still hopeful Serious ? :eek3: I heard they were only getting two in the Twin Cities!
How can you still be hopeful when Jay has been proven wrong by someone who knows more than both him and his manager combined. I dont get it. Nothing escapes the internet, and a Spec C coming to the US would have def. been picked up by the internet.
I just talked to Dan this morning Jay's Manager, The spec C is a Japan only car. Imagine that! It was a mistake and the salesman realized when he had a really hard time finding the specs (for good reason). Jay Sounded sincere about the mistake he made and having to get his manager in on it doesn’t help him out. No big deal though I think a few of you guys had a idea it wasn’t available. I saw a few posts out there circling around with some doubt. :eek3:
If you don't already, you should read Jalopnik (http://jalopnik.com) - if we get a whiff of Spec C, or Focus RS, or anything else for that matter, they'll go freakin' nuts. Also the site pretty much rules.
The really funny thing is the cars the Jay was talking about aren't even 2010's there 2009 STI's :laugh:

blah.. anyways, I stopped by the dealer here but they were also clueless..as are most people in japan that doesn't relate exactly to what they work with on a daily basis.
FYI, it is set in stone now that there will be a sti sedan here in 6 months. The big wing will be a option.
