occIt's that time of the year again!!! You know... the time to update your bragging rights for this year... RS Motors is hosting the annual DYNO DAY on Saturday 9/22/12. It will start at 11AM. Cost of the event will be $50 if you register and pay before 9/21/12... otherwise it's $60 the day of the event... It will include 2-3 pulls on the dyno with a print out that you can wave in everyone's face, some sort of lunch (pizza & soda most likely), and an entry into the raffle. BroCo is lining up donations from our vendors so we will be having a raffle this year... You will be able to buy into the raffle which will include lunch (cost TBD). It is free to watch but you are not entitled to the lunch and will not be included in the raffle unless you buy in.
Payments prior to the event are taken through the main PayPal link on the MNSubaru page or use [email protected] as the E-mail address... So this really is the same day as Rockfalls, and there's no way to change it? That seems like it would be bad for attendance (for both things).
SO we have been working with RS motor's for over 3 months... This was the date that worked out best for MNSubaru and RS (so we are sticking with it)... I can't please you all and some of you will have to choose which event you are going to go too... Rockfalls will have another event in October... this is a once a year thing... We can push this a week later. I also realized the 15th is a sport compact Day. Being September, cooler temps are here and people will start to attend the track again.
For those who have not taken part in this in the past it is a great chance to get a base line for your car. Doing this every year gives all of the members a chance to see what their modifications have yielded. The only way to see true gains of H.P. is to run your car on the same dyno each time as each dyno reads differently. RS does us a huge favor each year by hosting this and we would love to see a huge turn-out this year. Not to mention you get a cool dyno graph to show all of your family and friends!

Last year got the base numbers of 240hp/241tq on my 2011 with 111 miles on the odometer. Now its time to see what my upgrades and about 8500 miles on the motor gave me, before the next round goes in
May come and get another dyno pull graph after my new clutch and flywheel is in hopefully by the end of this up coming week Just seeing if my messed up dmf was robbing some hp or not I'll see when the time gets closer if I want to get another pull or 2
It's not looking good for me being able to pull this year, but you can count on me transferring my speaker freakin' skills to some 3"+ exhausts just the same.

ehhhhh... maybe. I don't think there is much I can throw down that's better than the sweet, sweet sound of a dyno pull though...
