nice! no gopro, but a pocket size kodak still HD 1080 and SD card, don't have mount, i'll be mostly going around and taping during stops.
^Ronnie is probably busy. There WILL be a special guest appearance at the cruise for everyone to enjoy....
First of all everyone knew I was coming, I am on the list. Second I really don't like when you label me as "special" like that
Um, A hot playboy model? 98.9% of us going to this cruise are men u know so it better be a hot female. lol
I'm bring my hot female for you to look at and me to play with ...hands off boys or you shall be introduced to my right hand man Mr. Smith&Wesson. Josh has keeped me in the blue on this one but I'm guessing that the SPECIAL guest will be the newest member of the Subaru family.
Actually, in years past, there were quite a few females at this event. About 70% of the dudes on this forum have a significant other of the opposite sex that they bring along with. And a good portion of them also have a family...kids and such. If you want a car show full of car model gutter skanks in their underwear, grinding their greasy cooze all over your car's paint, check out hot import nights. This is a community event for adult Subaru enthusiasts and their families to get together and socialize. Not a fast and furious movie.
Kwik Trip #761 - La Crosse, WI Ethanol (E85) , Verified they have 2 pumps by calling for E85, I am not sure about 93.
You should be able to make it down and back on a tank of 93 unless there is something wrong with your car. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Throw a couple gallons in your trunk if you think you're going to get 14-16mpg cruising a few hundred hundred miles at 50mph. There's only like 6 miles of "low fuel efficiency".
thanks for the info Gimp. Surly - I'm actually headed to Eau Claire on Sunday morning after La Crosse for an autox...need enough fuel to race and make it home! I can survive on 92, and really would rather not put in 91.
I live in Eau Claire and went to school in Lax. I am pretty sure that the Mobil on Jackson St (in Lax) has 93: The BP in Eau Claire on Birch Street also has 93. There is another station that has 92 as well.
I'm pretty sure that all of the Kwik Trips carry 93oct...and they are as common as SA up here.lol I think there has to be something like 30-35 of them in a town of 60k.
Most Kwik Trips only carry 91 now (no ethanol) in Wisconsin. I know for sure that's the case for Lax and EC.
Booo! That used to be one of my favorite spots to fill up with tha 93'z. **If you guys/gals haven't checked out the UPDATES thread, please do so! If you have any questions, please post them in here and i will try to answer them for you. Thanks!**
Indeed. The only thing better than a supa-normous Saturday scoob cruise is a sausage party followed by a supa-normous Saturday scoob cruise.
Also...the approximate numbers for those who are interested. 58 Subarus---93 adults---10 children ---and a Sheen.
Needs an oil change and serp belt swap... if I can get it done Friday night after work then yes... if not, then maybe next year.
The "Mod List" is for all of those that want to show off what they've got. If you're trying to hide the nitrous bottle...then you may not want to fill one out. Anyone can win the "Best in Show" award whether they have the mod list or not, but it doesn't hurt to have one if you want to increase your odds.
Damn Sats! when you have nothing going on, there's nothing going on. when something goes on, everybody have a plan! now i have 2 things plus the lax this sat. trying to juggle everything in the schedule!
cruise is less than a day away! Going to be a fun weekend dedicated to the saabaru...LaX cruise, camping, then autox on Sunday Now hopefully no one gets their undies in a bunch and puts me in the back because I'm technically in a Saab...made by Subaru On another side note...are people bringing FRS radios? I'll have mine and one extra if anyone needs to borrow one.
Do you guys have a frequency you commonly use for FRS? being a vehicle event, it may be a good plan to try and use the stronger output GMRS... alot of FRS radios over the last 4+ years have both options onboard.. it's any channel over 15.
