I'd like to get the fluids swapped out of my 2012 WRX transmission and differential. From what I understand, changing the 5 speed transmission lube takes care of the transmission and front differential - is that true? Around 3.7 quarts? Is this as simple as getting the car on the lift, draining old lube and filling with new - I'm assuming there is a fill plug on the side of the transmission? Or does it need to be filled from the top, and is that accessible w/o removing anything? Then, all I need to change is the rear differential fluid? Which I believe is around 0.8 quarts? And I believe a 75W-90 can be used for both? I'm planning on Redline 75W-90NS for the transmission. Or, my other consideration was Royal Purple Max Gear 75W-90. Thanks!
