2013 MNSubaru Calendar submission thread

    Alright folks, it's been a while since we've had a calendar so here goes!

    This is the official photo submission thread. If you'd like to have your photo used in the 2013 MNSubaru calendar, please either post a photo here or pm/email me with a high res photo.

    Below are some of the themes we are looking for, but feel free to submit others that don't fit into any of the themes as well. The moderator team will be compiling the photos, producing the calendar, and offering the calendars for sale early 2013 (pending availability of usable photos). So dig deep into your archives or go out and take some new pics! Please only use original work. Some formatting (namely size) of submissions may occur.

    Please only submit 1 picture per post. This will make "voting" easier as members can simply "like" the posts they want to see in the calendar.

    You can expect a FS thread later. All proceeds will go towards 2013 events costs and prizes. No dick pics please.

    Themes:
    • Winter/snow shots
    • Love (this could mean anything from your family and your subaru to you making love to a Valentines themed shot of your Subaru to a picture of your two moms in your forester/outback)
    • Subaru and pets
    • Your Subaru with your other non-subaru car(s)
    • Old school Subaru
    • Rally action shot
    • Tarmac action shot (Musashi, don't let me down)
    • I live my lidfe a quarter mile at a time
    • Fall colors
    • Night shots
    • Graffiti (Derek's ears are burning)
    • Badges/Stickers
    • Engine bay only
    • Interior only (looking at you here j-5!)
    • Lifted (not weed)
    • Got rubber?
    • Booty shots (your car you dummy, no one wants to see your ass, Josh)
    • Sports theme
    • Garage shots
    • My broken Subaru (Carnage!)
    • Exhaust/you like my pipe?
    • jdm y0!

    Can we submit more than one photo? I'll keep it reasonable, but I have a few I'd probably put up.

    Also, can we submit photos that we've taken of other people's cars?

    What we don't want is for people to use someone else's shot and submit it as their own.

    Also, no limit on pics. The more the merrier. I don't mind sifting through pics.

    General note. Just remember these are for a calendar. No one wants your ****ty, blurry cellphone pic on their wall.

    I don't have any "I got a guy with a fancy camera pics" other than the ones that were used in the last calandar but I do have one kinda decent one I took. kinda blah but whatetever.

    That's not an answer. Lol. I mean, I've got lots of shots but they are crappy and fuzzy from my iPhone. Ha. Let me see what I can do... I think I know a photographer. ;)

    Thanks Ben. We're working out the whole watermark issue right now. Wouldn't be fair to provide free (year round) advertising to some and not others. I'll keep the OP updated as we work out the details.
