I'm not new here by any means, but this car is. Just picked it up today from the St. Cloud Subaru dealership. It was a surprisingly pleasant experience after never buying a car from a dealership prior. A few of my requirements: 2010+ Black interior - could have been cloth or leather (even better that it's leather in my book) Either silver or black exterior Less than 50k miles non-smoker have mad horsepower I really just wanted something that was going to be reliable, that would get decent gas mileage, more space than the old LGT, and can carry a dog in the back. Car currently has just a hair over 16k miles and has been getting a consistent 31 mpg between a little freeway and city driving. I need to find my old Yakima Railgrab towers or buy some new ones to throw my bike up soon, but that's about it for the list of to-dos until I recoup some money. Following that, I think WRX springs and maybe front window tint. All said and done, I think that's about as much as I'll do for the car. Keep it as close to stock as I can and just enjoy the car. I'll keep this thread updated as I drive the car. Even though I'm back into a non-turbo'd Subaru, I will continue to wave/thumbs up everyone I see. Photos: Might have to invest in some MNSubaru stickers too soon. Dan
Looks super comfy Dan! Very nice! Tint and springs is about all that i can think of. Maybe some rally armors!
Nice, congrats! I too had a nice experience with St. Cloud Subaru. That's where I did the pass through of the WRX and bought the FXT. Those leather seats look super nice!
I think I have springs/struts that would work for this. I anticipated going low on my foz, but life needs changed.
So many suggestions! But they're all great ones. I'll get to a lot of them, just need to figure out where to fit them in the budget.
I also have 2012 wrx sedan exhaust and some extended hangers floating around my house. Longer hangers require very little if any modification to the bumper if any at all..
First thing I'd do is get rid of all of that st. cloud subaru advertising. Dealerships are obnoxious with all of the stickers and license plate frames. While you're at it, replace the stock license plate screws with stainless. Nice ride!
Debadged the trunk. No more PREV emblem, St. Cloud Subaru Sticker, or the Symmetrical AWD emblem. I left the Subaru and the Forester emblems though so it's not totally void on the trunk. Looks much cleaner now. Thanks to @SlowSC for trading Yakima towers. I threw them on as well as the bike rack and it's now looking more and more like a real Subaru. I found an image of what I would [at some point] like my car to look like. But this'll be a long ways away.
