Just when I thought I was ready to commit I got double whammied by a roofing project for a good friend (basically a 2nd dad) who's recently gone through a cancer bout, and a buddy coming home from MT. I'll be there in spirit.
Just realized that the 27th is the weekend of a cousin's wedding in IL, so I'm out this year If you end up needing an extra meal ticket to make the caterer happen, let me know and I'll make a donation.
I was down in redwing yesterday, there's some road work all through redwing with lane closures, so when people head home, they should opt for the much prettier side of the river and head up Wisconsin 35!
Thanks Poncho, but I'll ask Mr. Google. Speaking of which though, do you plan to do a pre-run, @tangledupinblu ? Unexpected detours suck. Also, a google map link to the intended route would help with the 3-4 bottlenecks (assuming you plan to use the same route as past years).
There is MAJOR construction on the bridge over the Mississippi outside of LAX. they bottleneck I90 down to 1 lane and then all the way to French Island. There might be traffic backed up there. A few weeks back the exit onto French Island we typically take was still open. Other then that there isn't construction this year on 60 that I know of, and nothing around Wabasha were 60 and 61 meet. Not sure if there is anything down by Winona though.
No preruns holmes because baby. Going for the wing and a prayer. My prayers are typically answered tho, so we should be good to go!
@Ryan FailRad when would you possibly be taking the dry run? If its this weekend I may want to join you just so I can get the route down and so we have 2 guys that know the construction areas and the detours and all that good stuff instead of just 1
Why don't we just say we have the 13 more we need. Raffle off the cost of the extra people. 13 people can buy VIP parking for at the shelter and 1st dibbs on grub
Dang cause I would like to know where the construction is and all that and so I can kinda know the route beforehand. Shoot me a text anyway cause Id be happy to go with or would you go during the week if you do go?
So, ran into a couple of subie owners that are not on here. And told them to sign for the forums and also sign up for the cruises. Got to love delivering pizzas and meeting subie owners.

That would be rather entertaining if we had a group of tow trucks following us like they always had a spare car on top gear in case someone broke down beyond repair.
I'll bring a tow rope and drag your sorry ass and that POS back to the cities for you. Don't mention it, my pleasure.
I remember this...first subaru event i ever went 2...it wasnt as bad as people made subaru owners out to be lol...ill try and go this year...4 years wow and now i own my own bug eye lol
CornyTumbleweed +1 (camping) Friend + 1 (no camping) Friend + 1 (no camping) Three subarus plus passengers paid for. Lets hope for nice weather!
Well @Ryan FailRad, we are currently at 65.25 people. So we technically have enough people signed up for the caterer...but we need 65 people pre-paid for it to really count! Lawlz
So I need to register and pay but my paypal acct is jacked up and tuesdays are hard to make the meets, anyon know how to get ahold of somone that is able to get me all registerd up?
All those nights outside my window and then after not letting you in, you run to @blackozone house, tells a totally different story of your level of desperation. Just saying.
