Im surprised that no one has mentioned this but since we are in Wisconsin, and its close to the 4th of July whos picking up fireworks? and is there a fireworks place near LaX? I guess I could look but I figured Id ask around first.

They MAY be allowed at the campgrounds, but I don't want to risk getting the boot from a place that we've been frequenting for 8 years. You can always grab some to take home! Thats what I meant picking up some on the way home or have a couple guys stop and meet in LaX or depending on what time I leave I could get some on the way home I just have to see what my dad and uncle say cause they kinda head up the fireworks
it is a slight possibility that I might not make it. As much as I don't want to miss the cruise, there's something in the front end of my car that is going bad (idk. it shakes at highway speeds and clunks when I go over bumps) and I can't figure out what. I have done the regular jack the car up and see which way the wheel wiggles but they both feel solid in all directions. I'm going to try and get it figured out this week and hopefully be able to fix it friday night, but if I can't then I may have to stay back and avoid having a ball joint or something give out hours away from home
@pocketrocket i have never felt a bad inner tie rod end before. how do i tell if its bad, aside from driving it?
Instead of just grabbing the wheel and pushing in and out at the various angles, you can go right to the inner tie rod. Grab the tie rid and see if there is any play in it, basically bypassing any movement you would've felt from a wheel bearing/outer tie rod/ball joint. If it's bad, you'll know it fairly easily. Keep in mind if you do replace an inner or outer you'll need an alignment as well!
When my inner went bad the car would pull different directions depending on whether it was under load or not. Under load it would shift and then let off the gas it would shift back. Felt kinda like torque steer.
I don't get so much of the torque steer but when I brake at really slow speeds (like rolling up to a stop sign in traffic) the car will sometimes pull to either side. It's not quite so bad now that I got new tires that aren't literally completely bald though, but every now and then it will do that. Only when braking though.

Well after I get off of work at midnight the mistress will get a good detail from my friend and I. Since the second vehicle is downin alabama for 3 weeks. Late Night Push for cleaning. Also hopefully my VA check hits tomorrow also, to have that extra fun cash.
