Yeah, maybe. I just thought I'd mention it - it's a nice car and it would be a bummer to have that happen before Subaru fixes the issue.
I was just going on how I read this reply I got from Cobb Support.... Hello! We are currently working on support for the 2015 STi! It will likely take us some time to add support for it as the ECU is in fact different beyond just the calibration. At this time we do not have an ETA for support, but we hope to have it done soon! Funny Sold my white 05 STi to Walser yesterday and drove home in a 15 LE. Feel like I'm cheating on my old STi as I had her for so long. Amazing trade in though considering she was 90k and stock. Can't wait to drive the new one a bit. Can't help but think of this every time I peek out of the window...
I ordered my car stock but then read how bad the stereo is. Asked for the Kapa upgrade as I was picking it up and asked for SOA727002. It's essentially the three parts of the Kapa kit in one box and saves you around $400. Dealer wasn't aware of it but after some discussion with the parts department, found it. It's being fitted next week. Posting this just incase anyone else wants to upgrade and save themselves some $$$.
went for the gold and traded my 2010 hatch for a new 2015 launch edition STI. after i saw it and drove it i had to have it. you can sure tell they did some re-mapping on these because the throttle response is awesome. can sure tell the chassis upgrades the way it handles, but the trade off is some may consider the ride as on the fierce side. none the less i love it.
