The wife and I went down there last fall to try and see fall colors. Unfortunately we were a little late. However, we did find some sweet roads (gravel) down by the river (just south of Zumbro Falls). Some pretty good windies and a decent minimum maintenance road that you can get out of at both ends. Check out the map and find 68 right next to ZF. It wraps right around the river. And you can get on 11 and that wraps right back around to 60. Probably not nearly as exciting as you want, but throwing it out there.

Hmmmm....been awhile but I may be interested in following the gang to LaX. It'd come down to weather though.
