Woo! Gonna be a slight bag shortage since we planned on topping out at 40. Any idea how many ambassadors are in the list?
Couple random question: Do people stay connected during the drive? Radios? WhatsApp? Also, any 93 octane pumps in LaCrosse?
@EarlS The cars "usually" stay in a single file line all the way down with exception of camera cars. FRS radios are suggested! But depending on the model, alot of them drop off/out of range non stop. The front car to the back car is usually around 2-3 miles long once we're spread out. -Zumbro Falls has a BP with 93. -Wabasha has 93. -LaCrosse has a handful of Kwik Trips that have 93 oct as well!
Thanks for the reply. Figured there would be a line. My neighbor goes on group trips regularly, and he mentioned they use radios to stay in touch while driving. 93 octane = keeping my favorite map...
Stopped by the Aluminati's Top Secret headquarters to pick up some prizes to add to the raffle boxes yesterday! A week from right now i will be heading down to Inver Grove Heights WalMart to meet up with you suckas!
^ There's a kwik trip just past the shelter a couple of miles for E85 folks. I'll be stopping there to fuel up. https://www.google.com/search?site=...460000002!3d43.8084145!3m2!1i837!2i802!4f13.1
Is Wong coming with!? I don't see him on the list? Edit:got your payment confirmation and added you to the list mang!
There will also be some vinyls available for sale to help offset the cost of the shelter a bit(i hope!).
Hey, another WI member! And literally minutes from where I live. Looking forward to meeting you on the cruise.
#23 on that list will be riding solo, now that it is finalized, no camping, I'll be headed out just before 5pm for sure to meet up with the fam. Payment sent, sorry for the delay, guy.
Hopefully it stays that way! Now only if i knew if there was any road construction on our route... No problems there Chrissy-Poo!
Is this a request for someone to check the route? According to google maps there is some construction near cannon falls and some near zumbrota
If someone is willing to co-pilot with me I would be willing to make the drive and scope the "problem" areas out.
When you click on the link, it says that the NB resurfacing project is complete. It looks like there are lane closures for both directions in Coates, now through November. Also, southbound traffic is down to 1 lane in Cannon Falls, because they are replacing the northbound bridge over the Little Cannon River.
HWY 52 is a mess! At least the bridge over 42 is back up and running 2 lanes both directions. It is one lane both directions at 190th. Back ups begin around 160th st. (Coates) Also single lanes at Cannon Falls and Zumbrota. Traffic moves ok, but there will be some delays. I'm not sure of your route, but you could go east at 160th, into Hastings, and catch 61 south. You may need to regroup as navigating stoplights with a large group is a pain in the ass.
That is one of the reasons that we avoid the likes of Hastings and Redwing. That and the curvy roads of course!
What day works best for you. Thursday is out for me. So either 2 maro or wens night works best unless we want to try and do it friday but that seems pretty last minute if we do deam we should try and adjust the route.
Confirmed one lane in both directions from Cannon Falls to County Road 46, traffic maintained 60-65 MPH entire stretch. From Cannon Falls to Rochester there were two 1/2 mile stretches that were one lane. I can't speak for North of County Road 46.
Good info. May not need a full route inspection. It looks like most of the trouble ends near Canon Falls.
