2018 WRX STi RA

Anyone know when the 2018 WRX STi RA is supposed to drop stateside? I heard first quarter 2018, but couldn't find any more detailed information than that. Asking for a friend...

 

Deliveries I have heard will begin in between March and May, the dealers should already know if they are being allocated one or not. They are only making 50 of the 500 in the Crystal Black making it the unicorn..

 

A black unicorn? I had no idea such a rare and beautiful beast existed! Any inkling as to which dealers in town are going to get them?

 

It usually goes by WRX/STI sales history, safe to say Morries Minnetonka will be getting one as well as St. Cloud. They were the first to get Launch Editions when I bought mine so safe to assume history will repeat itself. @Squiggly what say you?

 

Any idea of what the ADM will be at these dealerships? I saw that Honda Civic Type R's were being pretty heavily price gauged when they hit the US market.

 

I was told Morrie's Brooklyn Park would have one RA as well.

 

Black one at Minnetonka. They are supposedly making 340 HP.

 

There was for sure one at BP Morrie's when we were there a few weeks ago. Looked pretty sexy in white w/ gold wheels.

 

That price tag doesn’t get any lower no matter how long I stare at it

 

I have seen this car a few times. They have had one at Minnetonka Subaru since May at least. If I wouldn't lose so much money trading in my RS3 I would consider the RA. The looks are fantastic. They brought it out to Cars and Coffee in August to try and get a sale. Not sure if it got any inquiries on it though.

And unlike other dealerships Morrie's is not adding to the price. I was quoted $500 under MSRP just like any other model. Which surprised me because the black is the unicorn. Of the 500 made only 50 were in the CBS..

 

I thought there were 95 black ones? I think Black looks the best out of the 3 colors.
