215/199 stage 2 03 wrx I was hoping for 230/230 but o well

 

I wasn't able to make it out after all. Dang and or darn.

I'd like to give Ron and the guys at RS a great big thanks for hosting this event again. Turnout was a bit lower than expected but for those of us who actually showed up I think I can say we all had a great time. It was good to see some new faces mixed in with some of the familiar ones. There has already been some constructive talk about the next dyno day so look for this event to grow bigger and better every year. Once again, thanks to RS and everyone who took the time to come hang out.

 

yes big thanks out to RS and everyone who helped out! and as far as i know the best numbers i saw when i was there was a hawkeye putting out 550/and low 500's for torque? i cant remember exact numbers. if there was one that put out more im a little upset i didnt see it

 

^^^Yeah I think that was top hp for the subarus and Dipps car(black auto 2dr) was something like 450 hp 600ish tq I think. Not sure what that camaro put down for numbers but it was pretty awesome to say the least. And there was the Evo VIII that made nearly 700 hp not sure on the tq. Last car and maybe the most talked about of the day was Eli and his bright red Aveo that made much more power than anticipated and left us all stunned with it's 16.xx 1/4 mile run.

 

I definitely had a lot of fun, always good seeing people around that I haven't seen in a while, lots of nice cars as well... I just wish mine could've gone on the rollers (no, not the hhr)

 

ya idk what that camero put down, im kinda upset that i didnt get to see that evo run!

 

We found a boost leak on the intake manifold. Would had mad more power with the evo. It was good meeting you guys.

 

So who won money from my Aveo dyno run? Who ended up getting the closest with the 1/4 mile time guess?

 

Damn I wish I did not have to leave early! I would have loved to been there for that! What were your HP numbers?

The first time i saw Fuji pulling in at firestone, i was like OMG - this chick can really downshift and rev match a subaru like a champ...not untill i saw this guy come out!:laugh::laugh:

I had to walk away at one point, when he was pointing with a stick and talking like a texan, the day was complete.

 

Disappointed I missed this! I'm curious to see what a stock '11 WRX would do...

 

Never seen a 1/4 mile run on a dyno. No wonder how Ron gets so good at driving, he practices all day long haha
