3 questions about a 97GT

I have some questions that have come out of my two days with my LGT.
1. There is a mystery plug that is coming out of a group wires that come out of the fusebox next to the battery. Important?
2. The car was built with keyless entry and securty system. The wires are all cut up under the dash and to the siren under the hood. plus I only got one generic key with the car. And there is a hole on the dash that looks likeit was for a LED. My guess is that it's for the security system. Can I get this back to original condition?
3. Anyone know where I can get a missing piece of molding?

I dont remember which car that I own in the past and has a similar plug like that that was hanging out like that also. Didn't do anything to the car the whole time I own it.

Is there any fittings that that plug can be plug in?

 

I believe the plug is the rear washer pigtail. Not a big deal if you don't have a wagon.

Remove the other one too, and put some sidemarker lights in there.

 

I found the lighted markers on ebay for $24. that would be pretty cool.
