hahaha! lol! that is so funny! ........ sucks though... try to make it out for the last one so you can stay the hole time. was soooooooo fun! we also found a new road too on the way home.

 

Sorry to have missed the run (damn job). Hope everyone had as much fun as I did last time. Look forward to the last run.

It was a good way to break in the new car. Now I know how bad I need new tires and a rear swaybar.

Yes TYVM for the drive! Those were some amazing roads we hit, with very little traffic. I just loved that 180 turn the silver sti did. got to inhale his tires good. Good times, very much apreciate the time taken to find such good roads. I played most of it back on my gps and man were we hauling!

I'm in again for the last one. Just had too much fun last weekend. Let's hope the weather stays nice.

Details: driving a bunch of subarus along curvy roads which are more like oversized bike paths, fun.
I am skipping work and making it to this one as long as the weather holds.

we meet, we have a short driver's meeting...then head south to meet the other group. thats when you stock up on food at the gas station, then another drivers meeting and we're on our way. no actually food stop until the drive ends in eau claire.

Yup, you can come with or without a radio. If you don't have a radio... I'd recommend you stay in between the lead and the sweeper.

 

Normally people will bring a few extra for those who don't have them. I just bought a pair myself, so I'll have an extra one as well. I can lend ya it for the run, but just don't forget to return it to me when we reach the end at Eau Claire

can't asume they would be Tooo expensive at walmart...

you can get an ok walkie for 16 bucks at target... 2 mile range...
up to a 17 mile walkie pair for 60 bucks.

 

how bout those cheap one from the kids department ...lol

 

with the way technology is.. you could eve survive with one of those ****ty wrist walkies...

all should have a MIN of a mile - 2 mile range.

on open roads where there is bo buildings to block the signal from traveling you should get some good distance.

Just remember.. you get what you pay for.

I need a new one anyways, if i can find a cheap dual pair (with chargers) i'll let you buy one off me... then you don't really have to worry about it.
