So i've noticed recently that there is a clunk upon acceleration or deceleration where it almost sounds like the differential is loose and it is bumping into something. After looking into it, it seems it is a common issue with older Subaru's. I discovered many ways to address the issue: 3M window weld on the rear diff bushing, Kartboy Outrigger bushings, and rear diff bushing inserts... but i have also heard that all these do is add NVH and people are still stuck with the clunk. Has anyone addressed this issue and found good or bad results?
