You'll need a tranny w/mount, cables, master cylinder, clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, clutch pedals, shifter boot, possibly a different drive shaft, and an ECU from a manual transmission car.

I think that covers most of it.

The Legacy didn't need a different ECU. Flip two wires and it thinks it's a manual car.

Definitely need a driveshaft. A clutch master cylinder is only needed if using a hydraulic setup, otherwise cable options abound. A manual tranny crossmember is needed.

GL on finding someone to do it for you cheap, lol.

Not looking very hard. I mean, searching "tranny swap" with MNSubaru's search even pulled up this previous thread of your own: auto to manual? what do i need?

Find a donor car and do everything yourself so you can learn. You can search on RS25.com its got some info. Good luck.

Not to be the pooper here, but on a 13 year old L, maybe your cash is better spent looking for a newer manual model?

I just did a 5mt swap on my 14yr old Impreza last fall.

The information is out there you might just need to dig alittle harder for it. I know for sure that I have posted up a couple lists of the parts needed and some good pointers; but I dont feel like searching for them right now. I recall that it cost me about $450-500 to do the whole swap, and after I had everything on hand I was able to do the complete conversion in about 2 days (started friday night finished sunday morning) and I did all of the work myself w/o a lift and with only hand tools.
