That's ok, they're used to being overlooked. Seriously though, I used to drool over the Ion Redline's when I had an Ion, and they didn't even have the LSD of the SS.
my wife is working at 3pm.. so I need to be back at Jordan by 2:30pm.. is this do-able??? that will be the make or break of the deal...
There were a few people that had to take off early on the 21st. You can still come just call it a day early. This was the most fun I've had in a car for a long time. Don't miss out.
Ksal, as i wont be able to come... you will need to attack and take the tight ones slidewayz for both you and me
It will be close Nathan. We get to Wabasha at around 11 am and leave there at 11:30. The first section is really good and if you go directly home after we are done with that you should make it.
If the 507 will be close to Rochester, we're planning on meeting up in Roch and heading out from there.
The camera was my friends and I dont have it anymore...I had it for 6 months and I guess he finally wanted it back
What kind of mounts were you using? Exterior? My buddy is bringing a video camera, but I don't have any way to rig it up on the outside of the car, which gives you the best footage IMO.
Also, I’ve recently been informed of another tour going on this Sunday and I can’t decide between the 2 :eek4: This is what my mount looks like...if you've never played with this mount its not a good idea to just strap you cam on it. If it comes lose you camera will be F-ed up for good and my $90 mount will be too.
OMG that is awesome. I was just saying yesterday to my friend that we needed a magnet mount for the camera! Did he take that also? If not, maybe you could let us see if we could mount his camera to get some footage? If you join us of course.
This mount is not a magnet mount and that’s why you have to keep a close eye on it. It’s a vacuum suction mount and with these cooler temp it could come lose at any moment, especially when flying thought the twisties…maybe ill be able to get that camera from my friend for the weekend.
I just know that I need something more stable than a passenger bouncing around with the camera. The last footage that I got was pretty bad because he couldn't hold the camera still. Not that I blame him. I'm getting syked! Only a few days away!:naughty:
Yay for an extra hour to drink coffee and get ready. I'm pumped for some nice weather. Summer wheels going back on.
Eh I almost forgot about that. Does that begin after midnight on saturday or after midnight on sunday? If it's after midnight on saturday, that means we leave one hour later yes?
AWESOME! Kinda scared but I think I'll be fine to go. And that's if I can get Sunday open so I'll let you know.
While I have absolutely no problem with a faster pace, knowing full well my car's handling characteristics when pushed to its limits on most surfaces, I simply don't know the actual roads well enough to be 100% comfortable yet. The last fun run was the first time I've ever seen those roads. Well, that, and I get lost quite easily... So ya, I'll stick with Matt for the time being. If I wanna take a corner faster, I'll just leave more space between me and the car in front of me so I can have my DORIFTO fun
Uhg, you guys are confusing me. :ugh::eek4: As in, if you normally went to bed at 10 pm Saturday night. Turn your clock back to 9 pm. Thus, in the morning when you get up and your clock says 7 am, if you wouldn't've changed it, it would read 8 am. As in, you gain an hour. Or am I just freaking crazy?
Looks like I'm not totally crazy. From here. Think of it in terms of drinking. You get an extra hour!!
I'm confused because you said 9 to 10 adding an hour, but here you're going from 1:59 to 1 subtracting an hour. Or I'm just stupid. Bleh. Sorry.
I wouldnt mind going on the Subie tour but some how these tours fell on the same day again...Im to addicted to the usual tour to pass it up.
