Don't worry. I've been assured that I will be given a dunk tank in which to hurl insults at each and every one of you. Which will be especially fun for the non-believers that don't think I would "say that to your face in person."
I'm game. No camping. The video process last year didn't go so well. We should have a couple of dedicated individuals who are allowed to roll around the group and make a video. Their cars should be plastered with go pros.
I was thinking this as well. The video and photos are hard to get correct when you have half the group trying to roll the line filming. Probably be a wise idea to pick one or two cars to do the filming this time around.

I just checked out the google maps view, and it looks like it's right on the mississippi, with lake Onalaska right north of it... I'm curious, has anyone done any fishing near the park in previous years? I'd be interested in going if there was some chance of catching something.

Im more than likely joining this adventure (plus 1), Ill have to see when time gets closer. Ill get my own camp site if I decide to camp because id be joining some lacrosse friends for that. Curious- what route is taken to Lacrosse? Do you cruise through rochester on the way?

We Rochester folk, typically, meet up at Bakers Square off 37th for breakfast and coffee before heading up to Zumbrota as subaruordie said. Just keep and eye on the SEMN/Rochester thread for updates and info. At some point in time we will bump that thread with a plan.
Lack of summer temps lately has got me ready for cruising in the warm weather! For those that haven't signed up yet, do so! You won't regret it.

I'll go ahead and spill it. We couldn't make the dunk-tank happen. I know a few of you were excited at the possibility of putting me into 500 gallons of water or having me hurl insults at you. But the logistics just didn't pan out. We are looking into the feasibility of having it at another event in the Twin Cities area at another time. Still, we never had one in the past, so don't think that LaX isn't a fun cruise without the prospect of dunking a moderator.
