I've got a 95 legacy with a 2.2L and a 5spd manual. A while back I ran some seafoam through the intake thinking i'd be cleaning the valves and doing myself a favor by improving efficiency. I've done this with several other vehicles with good success. However, Now my legacy smokes REALLY bad under hard acceleration as well as a long deceleration while using the engine to slow the car. This makes my car look like it's about on fire. I don't know if i've damaged the valves, partially cleaned the valves and now have an uneven surface, or am having an internal head gasket issue. It can burn a quart of oil in 200 miles sometimes. Any ideas??
What's the milage on the motor? Maybe some carbon build up was loosened and is now causing an issue of some sorts?
What hose did you run it off of ? Did you use too much? Do a compression test, find what cylinder is low, go from there.
You could have loosened up a bunch of crap, and possibly caused the rings to stick. If you sucked in too much, you could have damaged something, but it would likely have a misfire now if that was the case. I would look into your PCV system and make sure the valve isn't sticking. They aren't too expensive to replace, and if it's been in there for a while, it's not a bad place to start.
