I watched the video and... it's not terrible. Although some of the members took their recruiter's word that 'your school will be all paid for' and are suffering from their ignorance for the most part they're right. My tuition at the U of Mn was NOT fully covered by my GI Bill benefits but I knew that going in since I'd done the research. I haven't taken anything my recruiter said at face value since 1997. I'm curious as to McCain's reasoning but from what has been said here he's trying to keep retention up at a time when retention is pretty important. I'm also curious as to what riders were on the GI Bill upgrade that the Senate passed. Otherwise it's not a bad commercial.
I'm not in any way arguing with you about the tuition thing, but mine started out at around 85% of whatever the going rate at the main U was, and that was how it was advertised to me. Since then (2003) the % that I am reimbursed has jumped to 100% of the going rate at the main U--which helps. The GI Bill itself is an extra check that I get in proportion to how many credits I'm taking. More credits, more money. meh.

One minor caveat that seems to hardly ever get brought up... He wasn't in the Senate when the war vote came around. He didn't have a say in it. For him to imply otherwise is just fantasy.

In looking over this post I'm just a bit confused at peoples views and there political mentality. Some of the people on here want to vote for people that think the individual freedom that we are granted like driving and using gas in our cars and speaking free should be taken away. Why are they on here, this just does not make any sense to me. Just all of you remember the way were heading in this country. 1)Your a baaaaddd person if you drive to work every day...you using gas, so your wasting fuel (even though public transportation is a joke in the US......were not EUROPE!) 2) If your in to tunning your car and running a DP thats missing the meow meow's your contributing to global warming...your a baaaaaaaaaaaaadddddd person..so no fun with tunning your car. 3) The radio that we listen to besides MPR....will soon change because right now you can listen to what you want but some people in government want to change that. Because the other stations are not speaking fairly for the other side they want to have somebody edit there content before somebody hears it. If this is int communist nothing is. But soon we will have to give up are Subaru's because we are bad Americans and we are using gas so at that will be the "CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN"...and then this site will be about the cars and fun we did have.
