Your supporting mods would. Fuel pump and injectors to start. Also think about EBCS, DP is a good thing to maximize your setup. Even at the bare minimum E85 swap you would void your warranty.

I've seen people change their car back to stock to sell to a dealership for trade in etc... That's dirty imo

How is that dirty? Changing it back to stock and asking for warranty repairs that were obviously caused by your mods is one thing, but going back to stock for resale... what's the issue?

They'd have a strong case to deny a warranty claim for your engine and possibly transmission. It would be hard for the dealership to deny a suspension, electronics, brakes, etc warranty claim based on the mods you'd have to do to run e85 safely.

Might a dealership deny any warranty claims on the car even those unrelated to your mods? Possibly. In that case I'd suggest finding a different dealership since there are some out there that are more "mod friendly." You have many dealerships to choose from locally. ****, I used an out of state subaru dealership that I had a very good relationship with for a couple years because they were willing to overlook several mods. So there's always that option too.

Well for one, your looking for a car to purchase, you see that its stock, has no modification. You figure the car shouldn't have been pushed passed its limit etc. I will tell you that I wouldn't like it. The guy could have put this turbo did that blah blah ran it to hell find its running weird, tunes it down puts stock back in and gets rid of it... That is a lot of what ifs etc.

^ Welcome to buying used Subaru's.

I would guess most "stock" used Subies you see out there were not stock prior to the sale.
