About to change my OIL.

Using Full Syn Valvoline. And Lucas Oil Stabilazer. So I was lookin under the car at the tranny I'm wondering If I can see the speedo cable and where its connected. Anybody know about this?

 

the speedo cable is on the passenger side of your trans right by your downpipe, there should be about a 1 inch hole.

lucas oil stabilzer is honestly a scam and not worth putting into your car. you have a 22t, put good oil in it and you have no problems.

 

Thanks Tim you have helped me out a lot during the past few threads. We haven't even met i'll think twice about it. The guy I bought the car from said that Lucas does "wonders" for the turbo. Si I went with his advice. What do I know I'm still a nub. I already put the oil in my car though.

Almost all oil additives are snake oil. They do nothing at best, and hurt things at worst. The only oil additive I'd ever consider using are specialty additives like a LSD additive for a rear diff or there is one that can help a dying auto tranny. Otherwise, its all junk. Slick 50, Duralube, etc.

 

and remember not to pour nine quarts in.

 

I put almost five in mine no including the half thing of sea foam. you guys use Sea Foam right ???
