My v1 AP for my '02 WRX is not working! I was trying to figure out how to unmarry it from my car- ~I view my current map, then change the map- I go back to view the new current map, and nothing has changed! ~For most other options, the AP just says ERROR! try again I just sold this and not it's not working!!!! What do I do?? :emo:
divorce is never easy, no matter how badly you wanna get rid of her. so, I can't think of anything helpfull to say. so you are selling th v1, or the car?
Clean out all the Maps from the device and reinstall only the stock map. Then flash the car with the stock map and the try to divorce it.
I'm selling the accessport ___________________________________________________________ Flash connectors are in- New problem: VOLTAGE LOW I cleaned the acidic residue from the battery connectors, should I let it charge for awhile?
So the AP is continuing to tell me that I have LOW VOLTAGE *check cables* Do you think my battery might suck? Every once and awhile it takes a bit for my car to turn over. A few weeks back I had just driven about 100 miles- I got home and took a short trip to the bank. At the last stop sign back to my house, my car just died. It would turn over for a split second and then shut off again. We managed to push my car down a hill to my driveway. We revved it up good, and the problem was fixed. ^^^This problem is probably totally irrelevant^^^^ Has anyone else had this problem while unmarrying?
Sounds like your battery wont hold a charge or your alternator could be going bad. My best guess would be the battery.
That is my point, the battery may have a bad cell and it won't hold enough juice. You might want to get it tested. Just my .02
apparently we are supposed to plug in a white connector to a blue connector which is missing from her car... and we have the green connectors but they(Cobb) said we need to plug in all of them...
why do they make this so complicated: 1:you must take the green connector and make it red 2:then turn the car off and then turn it on 3:get out of the car and open the doors 4: get back 5:repeat....
You're talking about the flash block? Yes, you need the flash block if you're planning to unmarry the AP. It should've came with the AP. Also, anyone that has a non DBW tactrix cable should have the same flash blocks.
She bought the car used and people screwed around with the wiring... we has no flashblock... When she got the car we found the AP in the glove box. We are guessing the previous owner left it there on accident... so she dosn't have everything that comes with a brand new one.
No block on the car, or simply no block that came with the AP? As far as the flash block goes, anyone with an AP or tactrix cable should be able to provide you with one. Hell -- you could even make one yourself, it's just a jumper between the two pins.
