    Ok, so I finally pulled my EJ22/25T apart, and there's all kinds of bearingy goodness in the oil pan. This motor is getting Wiesco's and Eagle Rods. Piddster Suggested using ACL bearings, but when I was looking around for them, I noticed that the few places I found them didn't offer over-sized ones. Now bear with me because all my motor builds until this point have been v8s...

    If my crank was damaged when the bearings died, It'll hopefully be salvageable by having it turned, but if I have to do that, where do I get over-sized bearings for it? Maybe I'm missing something and this is a dumb question...if so, please enlighten me.

    Well, I retract my previous statement and say you should call Calico.

    You could get another 2.2 crank pretty easily. They're all the same between 22T and 22E.

    QFT= Quoted For Truth.

    And the truth is that the EJ22E and EJ22T cranks are the same.

    yep, if you've got your heart set on a certain kind of bearings, and they're not available oversized. just get a new crank that doesn't need to be turned.....(or steal the one out of the wagacy:yumyum: )

    heck, might be worth doing that anyway.

    Yeah, I haven't taken the short block apart yet so i don't know how bad the crank is. I suppose if it's bad, I'll just get a new crank. Thanks guys
