It's made from real sugar, not sweetners. If you ever go into a mexican market and see the imported soda in a bottle, it tastes a lot better than the regular stuff here because it made with real sugar cane sugar. It's very yummy stuff.

agreed, yummy... When I was in mexico for 8 weeks years ago, I could not stop drinking thier soda! Great stuff, also the Droitos down there are much better, and the candy, and the food...

only thing not better is the water.

I think the sugar is also not good for me.

I think I'm going to try to kick soda alltogather.... with the exeption of 1919 root beer floats.

The throwbacks were a limited edition run for the summer and like all of our limited runs we ran out of the syrup to make it too fast. There are no current plans to bring it back and the 12 packs and 20oz that are still out there are few and far between. I have seen them at a couple of gas stations in the past month but I don't think there are any bulk stores (Target, Walmart, Cub....) that have any left.

And yeah, the real sugar sodas are MUCH better. I had some pepsi from Scotland and that was the best pepsi I have ever had. There are some sodas that they sell in the "natural" aisles that have real sugar. The Hansons Natural Cola is by far the best.

I like soda, don't get me wrong. But you guys going on about how you have 2 or 3 cans of monster a day because you are so tired need to man up and get a good coffee addiction going. Pissing away 3dollars a can for that crap is pointless when a 24oz cup of gas station coffee for 99cents will give you more caffeine.

    FYI:
    Mountain Dew 55mg per 12ozcan
    Sun Drop 63mg per 12ozcan
    RedBull 115mg per 8.3can
    Rockstar 180mg per 24ozcan
    Espresso 100mg per 2oz cup
    Coffeee 115-175 per 8oz cup

You wanna talk about caffeine punch per ounce of fluid consumed? It takes a little over 4 ounces of espresso to dish out the equivalent of an ENTIRE CAN of Rockstar (24oz). Plus the espresso doesn't have sugar in it. And then there is coffee. For 99cents at your local gas station, right now, you can get 24oz of coffee...if we shoot for the middle of that scale there, 24oz of coffee should yield you 450mg of caffiene. That is more than every soft drink I listed above COMBINED.

So yeah, you ladies talking about a 3 can a day monster addiction? I'm not impressed. I drink four 24oz coffees PER DAY at the least. I usually drink an entire pot of coffee by myself in the morning. The best part is, if you are man enough, there isn't anything in there that is gonna kill you. No sugar, no milkfat, just ground up bean residue and water. The caffeine might be bad for you I guess, but whatever, that's why you're drinking the sodas right?

Try drinking soda water or any other water that is carbonated.... I find I have an addiction to the carbonation, not the sugar, or caffeine.

Doesn't anyone just drink stuff because they like the taste? I love Peanut Butter sandwiches. I eat them nearly every day but I wouldn't say I am addicted to them.

Yeah, that was my problem too. I craved soda for the fizzy. I'd even say "I want fizzies"

    so no, it's not caffiene.

I found this stuff http://xsportsnutrition.com/endorush.html at the GNC. It has FOUR servings. I have found that it works faster than most energy drinks, and doesn't have much sugar. Also, it appears it doesn't have that taurine crap in it. That is what you're addicted to, it's not caffiene, it's Taurine. That **** is bad bad bad for you. I believe I read someplace that it makes your blood thicken up, increasing the odds for clots.

I used to be addicted to crappy energy drinks, monster, redballs, until I found that endo rush stuff. It's 4 bucks a bottle but if you're going to do the energy drink thing, i recommend it. In the long run it's probably better for you than the crap you're spending 3 bucks a can on.

Or just drink coffee, but there are days when you just want that fizzy buzz .. and cold drink ..did I mention endorush is fizzy? :p

Nowadays, I use caffiene for cleaning our house. I don't crave energy drinks like I used to . or sodas. They are around, but I honestly don't like drinking them anymore.

Yeah it definately reminded me of getting the glass bottles of dew when I was a kid. The after taste of sugar is so much better than the after taste of HFCS.

Yes, you can go down to the local petrol station and buy a 12pk of dew and a carton of Marlboro Reds. ;)

Pop/Soda really is bad for you, along with all those energy drinks. I prefer a big fat line of methamphetamine in the morning and crush up a couple NO-DOZE to put up my nose as well.(Joking) Or just a cup of coffee.

I have a friend who drank so much dew, it was horrible. He quit and shed 25lbs.

I'm not entirely convinced that a big fat line of methamphetamine in the morning would be worse than drinking dew all day. Probably work a hell of a lot better than the caffeine in all that dew, too. And one certainly would not get fat from it, lolz.

+1 fan of Mt. Dew, I tried the throwback but didn't like it as much, if pepsi could make a diet dew taste like regular dew they would make a killing. But I would have to say diet dew is probably the best tasting diet pop Ive had, and Coke zero's with my Bacardi  its also pretty funny how Dew in a can taste better than in the bottles.

sometimes I would go for the fist sip of a can of do and accidentally drink it all (WIDE MOUTH FTW)

Ive tried to stay away from the dew though, I normally drink a big Lo-Carb Monster every day when I'm driving for work. those tall monsters with the twist top are slick, almost every time I open it for more I hear the psst. Can't do coffee, I hate the taste.

    I'm the same way:yumyum:

    oh yeah seriously...

Last weekend I had had a cola made with real sugar and I agree, it was very good. A friend picked some up at a co-op.

I tried kicking coffee mochas cold turkey years ago and got caffine withdrawals so bad I got a migrane and puked. I've since cut back to 1-2 coffees, and a Coke or an Amp/Monster. Man I love caffeine!:eek4:
