Just got this compressor from my dad. He says this part needs to be replaced. Anyone know what it's called so I can find a replacement? Compressor is a C-AIRE PK6145NC. Bought in 1998.
That is just a pressure regulator with a filter. Should be able to pick up something at northern tool or tractor supply. That part has nothing to do with the brand/model of compressor, that is a additional item that was added to it. All you need to know is the size of the pipe thread (looks to be 1/4npt). What is to the right of it? It almost looks like another pressure regulator. Russ
Is it a pressure regulator with a drier incorporated in it to keep moisture from traveling down the air line and into the tool or sprayer being used? Air compressors will collect moisture in their tanks too, so make sure you drain the collected water from the tank regularly so it doesn't rust out. We had a Craftsman portable air compressor at work and no one ever drained the tank until one day when it would no longer work properly - the air tank was filled with water.
If warren is some sort of nerdy title for mechanical engineers and the g stands for Gordy then perhaps.
