everything on an 04 is interchangeable with a wrx

i'm thinking I probably will keep the car for forever or a long ass time - it's payed off, I enjoy too much and I don't think anyone would every buy it

The STi handbrake drums are larger than the wrx. So I think for the 06 wrx you would still need something like this:
    http://www.fastwrx.com/dbastiadro.html

fronts should be a straight swap.

check out the nasioc Brembo FAQ

ok, well luckily for me subaru make a rotor for the 190mm handbrake 2pot set-up (group n). I think there are companies that sell a brembo sized rotor for wrx's too (DBA 2657?)

yes, also check out Kartboy, wrxbrakes, and godspeed... machV (fastwrx) too. It's been a while since I considered going this route, but I remember there being a few options for both STi to 4/2 pot and wrx to Brembo.

yea I believe the DBA 2657 was made so that wrx owners could put rear brembos on

and the group N rotors are the easiest option for the sti

I'll send you an email later this afternoon Michael after I put together some things (the rears aren't a direct swap - we both would need to get different rear rotors to account for the different ebrake sizes. I will try and find who sells the rotors you and I need and send you my proposed trade)

I Talked to Mike (David Wray Auto) He said a custom bracket could be made for about $100. He has done it before on a car of his.

due to the extra cost for both parties of having to buy new rear rotors (and the ones going on the wrx will have to be DBA's which aren't the cheapest rotor lol) I am willing to do a straight swap with someone as long as their pads and front rotors aren't shot - so straight parts for parts, no need to buy me new components or lines
