Local distributor carries Memphis. -Specifcally the M Class Splits. Audited them the other day. Bit bright, but extreme good value.

Cannon Falls. We race with the SCCA RallyX guys in the spring/summer. Nothing wrong with getting the Leggie dirty...that's why they make car washes!

And holy cow wrx 08...that sounds like it would blow some ear drums and or windows out!?

Lol, I need to learn to drive. Ha and last time I took my Legacy down to the sand bar, I heard a clunking/grinding noise a week straight after

So how do you get the air movement for sub's in the wrx without leaving the center access open? 1 reason I have always loved hatchback's!
Think SS is going to have a sale on Boston's anytime soon Tyler?

Some of the best sub installs in gd wrx/sti's I've seen mount the subs in the (reinforced) rear deck or fire through the passthrough... or you could do like Ray and replace the back seat with 5 12s lol

No system currently, but I had some pretty sweet setups in my old Altima. That was 6+ years ago, let's see what I can remember. I think the last incarnation before I uninstalled and sold the car was:

HU: Eclipse 8053 - running balanced to the DEQ
    EQ: Behringer DEQ2496
    XO: Behringer DCX2496
    Front stage:
Amp: A/D/S/ MX850 - running 50x2 on tweets, 50x2 on mids and 150x2 bridged on the midbasses.
Midbass: Vifa PL - glassed into the doors
Mids: Adire AV3 - mounted in the kicks
Tweets: Adire ACA1 - glassed into the defroster vents
    Sub Amp: Arc Audio 1500D
    Sub: IDSPL

These pictures are a little random, various setups over the years...

More into home theater and a little pro audio now...

I don't actually have any hi-fi now as I'm focusing all of my resources ($) on building my RX-7.

    However, here's some past setups...

My "first" setup (Fubar II USB DAC, Little Dot I+ hybrid, K701):

Then the same setup with Grado 325i:

And then, of course, the transition to speakers started. Some Wharfedales with an Onyx SP3 integrated tube amp (still with the Fubar II):

And then some nicer gear. Peachtree Audio Decco preamp, McIntosh MC2205, Magnepan MMG.

And then I found a McIntosh C28 preamp (with the same setup but using the Fubar II as a DAC again):

Then I got an Emotiva CD player and a custom made tube based DAC:

And then Magnepan 1.6s. THIS SETUP ROCKED. Unreal.

And then I sold all of it and now have a pair of Klipsch IEMs... LOL.

Oh, after the McIntosh stuff as sold I also had some great Counterpoint gear with some small speakers (however what I had escapes me). I bought the amp (tube) and pre (also tube) from a doctor on Summit Ave. in St. Paul for $650. I sold both three months later for $3,500, lol.

And this pretty much sums up why hi-fi is awesome:

Miles Davis, a limon and Coke and a relaxing chair. Bliss.

WOW David that's a sweet setup! I'd like to get a good set of cans someday. I have a pair of Sleek SA1 IEMs I use daily - listening to a GL podcast right now...

Yeah, gotta love an 8 channel car amp, lol! Most amps over 4 channels were like 4x50 + a couple channels intended for subs - I loved the fact that it was just straight 8x50 & you plug in whatever x-over modules (or bypass) you wanted for each channel pair. I ran a 650 and 450 for a while too. I went through a ton of amps, but I think my favorite was my US Amps tube amp.

I don't have that Arc anymore. Still have the front stage drivers, and I have two of those TC Sounds 15's running in my home theater. I did pick up a minty Memphis Big Belle from a member here (had always wanted one) so who knows - maybe I'll put a little system in eventually.

I used to have this setup tucked away in the top drawer of my file cabinet at work :p

Started off as having really bad SQ out of my work laptop and ended there...

ha, great stuff. -LMS drivers? I haven't done too much research on TC Sounds. From what I remember, it was a bunch of prototype drivers. Epic Line?

TC Sounds was an OEM for a few of the bigger brands (Eclipse is the one I'm most familiar with). We had a batch custom ordered, before they were selling anything direct branded as TC Sounds or AudioPulse. They were essentially Eclipse Ti's with bigger flat-wound coils and mass added for a lower FS.

With 2 of them in the basement HT with a kw each I can rattle the attic hatch and back door of the house :)

^The only "distibutor" I have ever came across W/ TC was PE. -Eclipse? Man, ha it's been a while since fujitsu went out W/ them. First deck was an old Eclipse. Before I knew anything about "audio," I ended up selling it to a pawn shop for $15 because I didn't have the remote -little did I know it MSRP'd for over $350 ..still kickin' myself for that

I work in the soundproofing and acoustics industry and have been in dedicated two channel listening rooms that have more $ invested in them than the purchase price of my house. Freaking amazing. I've done quite a few yeas of consulting and sales in the industry but I don't have the disposable income to "get into it" myself - so I get to enjoy other people's investments and am usually able to call it work... One of our new products was just written up in Stereophile Magazine which was pretty cool: http://www.stereophile.com/content/acoustic-geometry-curve-system-room-treatments
