Hi like the title says I’m wondering if anyone has information on this 2011 WRX hatch. I bought the car about a month ago from a small used dealership. I know that it came from an auction with damage to the front/right side but I never saw to what extent. Either way, I’m just trying to see if the previous owner is in here, and can maybe shed some light about the cars tuning (I hope it’s tuned). Since then the only visible thing I’ve done was relocating the front license plate, and got new plates. The old plates were 084-UCN.

Here is a list of visible mods and that I know of
    -AEM cold air intake
    -SPT exhaust
    -envidia dowpipe
    -Rally Armor flaps
    -Red interior lighting
    -wrapped top

    Thanks for any help,

Whoever painted the repair should be embarrassed.

Yeah I know, they did a terrible job matching. Don’t even know how they let that slide.

Yeah, that color match is bad. White is the hardest color to match though, but still, no excuse. Blend that $hit onto the fenders and nobody would have noticed.

Almost looks like someone looked up the wrong white color code.

At this point I’ll probably save up and get the car painted next summer.

A lot of colors are hard to match, but a good painter would never let a car go looking like that.

Hopefully the rest of the repair was done better than the color matching. Good luck with the car and I hope you enjoy it. Nothing better than a Subaru in the winter.

It for sure is questionable, but so far the engine is good. Definitely fun to drive, can’t wait for winter.

I haven't painted a full car (yet), but a couple bumpers, doors, front ends, and misc parts. I'm not calling myself a good painter. I'm just saying a good painter would not let it go to the customer looking like that.

If it's a pearl white I can see how it would end up like this honestly, there is no way to match 100%. However, it looks like there may have been a dark sealer used or dark primer instead of white, even with a blend it would still have looked like this. Might look like a better match in the sun, a lot of painter use a sun gun to match and they have to eyeball it when picking a variation of a color, you could have 2 pearl white cars side by side and if that manufacturer has 6 variations of that white they will look totally different. In the end, good attempt but could have been done better or redone before leaving the shop, I wouldn't have let that slide at mine.
