Been reading a few threads on nasioc and clubwrx about the wrz uppipe/downpipe combo off ebay ($200). I dont usually entertain the idea of ebay parts on my car but they are getting good reviews.

Anyone on here have this setup? If so any feedback?

    Thanks

I wouldnt have an issue trusting the downpipe, as ive installed a few, the up-pipe is a different story, the last thing you want to cheap out on is the uppipe, as they like to crack, and if they have a flex, the flex likes to come apart.

i couldn't agree more! I've actually had a customers ERZ up-pipe that was so full of burs on the side I advised NOT to install it. I looked like someone crapped in it. Not to mention another one incident where the flanges didn't even line up!?

I have the solid(no flex) up pipe and turbo back exhaust on my 02 wrx. I've run this set up with my stage two tune for the past 4 or so years. They aren't the prettiest fitment on earth, but they work. Biggest problem that i've had in the 4 year stretch is the welds on the hangers. The car sees pretty rough conditions off road and the metal used by ERZ isn't the thickest, resulting in tears in the metal at the base of the hangers where it attaches to the pipe. I consider them a good exhaust for the money! You may want to consider a better up pipe selection?

I'll be selling my used ERZ catback soon if you're interested. But it's pretty beat up from rallyxing.:naughty:

What will you be running for a catback if you don't mind me asking? I find that the ERZ exhaust as a whole is pretty loud! I like it, but it's not for everyone.

if I can find an sti catback for cheap I will buy that but I was planning on using the stock exhaust. I had my share of loud exhausts in the past, I want to keep it relatively quiet : )

Just put in an ERZ catted DP last week, got a Bullwinkle tune a few days ago. Good fitment for the price (as everyone else has said). I used an STI uppipe though and everythings workin great so far!...I haven't even been able to find ERZ DPs on Ebay anymore anyway. I've read they've come a long way since they started as far as quality.
