Back in Montana we use hold smaller meets on Sunday's and we called them Subie Sunday! I know the season hasn't really quicked off yet but I am down for a meet up so I can meet some fellow subaru guys and gals. I am still a bit new to MN and I have hardly spotted any subarus.... I live in Bloomington but I don't mind cruising anywhere around the metro for a meet. Any thoughts or ideas?....
We have Tuesday meets every week. When it's starts getting warm it's normally over by the lakes around down town. Really surprised you haven't seen more they are everywhere. Even though a lot of people don't go crazy on the kids and keep them subtle and tasteful.
i know a good handful of them go to afton / buck / trollhaugen (sp?) +1 on the tuesday night meets and fridays used to exist from what i hear too. Not on a sunday tho. I don't venture down to bloomington much these days since I live more in the Northeastern part of the minneapolis area. Welcome tho!
Tuesday nights is mnsubaru meets, wednesday nights there are usually meets, friday and saturday nightsbthere are meets....
Tuesday meets are Mnsubaru, see the thread you posted in Andy. There is another thread in the event section for the summer meet. Wednesday meets are done by another group Friday meets also have a thread, afaik, they have died down but they were/are in St. Paul. No idea on Saturday meets.
I was doing "Drive n Dine's:" on Sunday's for a while. Then a blew up my car and didn't have a ride for 6 months. Planning to spin those up again. Weeklys have been historically tough to bootstrap here, but don't let that discourage you. Just be realistic going in.
Like wise. I work till 1030pm m-f so normally most meets r winding down by the time I can make it anywhere
I hit the Burnsville Sears thing tonight. Pretty strong turnout, lots of shenanigans I don't want to be anywhere near, but it has some potential of the bull**** can be reigned in. Might be decent enough to hit weekly if that happens. Perhaps cruise a little before hand.

Southwest Sunday Cruise group (SWSC) used to run every week during "car season". Not aware of any groups running something on Sundays.
I'd be willing to set it up. Once it warms up, I'd be happy to host at our place, a couple blocks from Lake Harriet, and I will fire up the Webers and have cold beverages on-hand. Update: M&G on Friday, May 3rd at New Bohemia in GV. I have a previous commitment this Friday. -K
