Signed up. Also very little idea of what's going on, but I might end up doing Sunday too... still not sure about that one. We could meet at Firestone and do a caravan to Dunwoody if you want... up to you guys. Should be a learning experience regardless I think I'll wait to sign up for Sunday until I'm sure I'll have a second set of rims, maybe Thursday or so.

My freind Soren and I are signed up. I'll give you a call some time justin. We are coming from south west so we will see you there

Glad to see we have a few Subie people coming to the class! Look forward to meeting you all. P.S. - Go ahed and sign up for the 17th! You can put some things into practice before doing the parking lot session the following weekend. Don't worry about your setup or your tires. Just show up and have fun!! Pat, thanks for the class, and I'm eagerly looking forward to the driving section I'm game for another caravan - it's a shorter drive next weekend.
If you're running, come find me (or get to firestone before 6:20) and we'll walk the course together... there's also a Novice walk that'll be happening, so you'll get some pointers there. Cliff notes version: 1) smooth inputs, 2) late apex, 3) slow in, fast out, 4) walk the course at _least_ 6 times. I'm shooting for 12. Othewise, talk to people who've done it before, they will give you plenty of advice to confuse you further (joking }); other than that just go have fun and don't get frustrated.

I remember taking the red line on the third turn and totally ate the outside cone. Twice! I must have dragged that cone for half the race. :I Luckily, Bikerboy and Speedemon didn't see it. )

i found myself using the AWD crab-walk drift on my last fun run. it felt fast but the timing system was down so i have no idea. a little bit of lift throttle to start a slide, then back on it to pull through... fun stuff
So are we going to meet at firestone sat morning. If so i think we should try to leave firestone by 7:15. He wanted use to be early since we were not able to check our cars.

Thanks to all the Subaru drivers who made it on Saturday, hope you enjoted it. Great job by all of you! Point of interest: The fastest time of the day was posted in a Subaru! See you on Sunday at Valleyfair!
I had a blast too. Too bad J. Grimm couldn't make it. The sadest thing about it all was I took a ride in someone else's NSX and realized I don't have a chance at auto-x mine without getting a whole new lo-profile seat. Guess I will just have to continue with the WRX.} Well I finaly got the pictures up. Lots going on here. http://www.eagrimm.com/>MNSUBARU/Auto-x class/
