The car currently has an SPT mid-pipe and axle-back on it. The muffler is beginning to separate on one end where the muffler body meets the end cap. I can see if it is reparable or replace with something on the quieter side. Does anyone have a possibility laying around? Ideally for $100 or less. Thanks -Rick

I have the stock catback off my 04 wagon just taking up space in my garage. Muffler was in decent shape when pulled. You can have it for free if it would work for you.

Install went smoothly with only one very small exhaust leak (can be felt, but not heard) between the downpipe/mid-pipe Grimmspeed adapter and mid-pipe after assembly. Nothing that a new gasket wouldn't take care of. The SPT exhaust that I removed is a thing of beauty except for the fact that the mid-pipe would in no way come unbolted from the axle back. What to do with this now? Is it entirely aluminum? Scrap value?

Why not just leave it together? Otherwise just cut the bolts with a cutoff wheel.

Should be stainless. If you wanna throw it out let me know.

Good thing you took that midpipe. I’m glad it worked out for you!
