If there less dogs there less chances for them to have rabies. If they neuter the once that are not sick that will be much more humane. Thy kill dogs that are not sick as well.

Somewhat preposterous of you to tell us to kill otherwise healthy dogs.

how are they supposed to figure out which ones are rabid or not? generally, don't you need to kill the animal first to determine if it has rabies?

so you'd prefer to play RUSSIAN roulette with your family where dogs are the gun and rabies are the bullet? personally, my families welfare comes way before a bunch of stray dogs

brian, you just listen and believe everything that the government tells you. There much more people dead than being reported. No one counts how many contractors die. And I can tell you how the war will end. If McCain wins the election and keeps dumping all the money onto the war there will be a depression on the country and US economy will be screwed for a long time. Government already agree that US is in ressesion. Inflation will increase even more if the interest rates go down more and the prices on food and other stuff will go up even higher.

the dogs with rabies are more agresive and usualy have red eyes and foam on there mouth. To make sure ou can always do a blood test. You can sedate a dog with a shot of a sedative and later do a blood test in a lab and if the dog has rabies you put it asleep and if not you give it a chop chop and let it go.

seriously, Taras shut the hell up.

you make yourself seem COMPLETELY retarded, somehow, more and more with every post.

You presented no decent facts, not one decent argument, and no points worthy to be posted in this thread.

The way I think of it is, if it's not your damn dog nor do you have any relations with it, don't ****ing worry about it. If people want to eat dog, let them, it's their culture, not yours. Indians think it's gross to eat pig because it's a dirty animal, yet I and many other Americans still eat pig, I don't see Indians complaining to me about it.

If the dog has foam around its mouth, red eyes and is agressive there is a pretty high chance that it has rabies. Euthonizing a dog is much more humane than poisoning it and letting it suffer. This goes for any animal, dear, rabit, cow, pig. There is always a humane way to kill an animal either it is for food, "fun":)roll:) or because it is sick.

lol. yes, the domesticated ones should live and spread rabies, but the ones that live in the woods should be killed and made into jerky.

There are, in fact, many things that can cause those symptoms. Here in the US and every other first-world-country we need to kill the dog to test if it has rabies. There's no other for-sure way. Rabies does not lend itself to "humane" treatment. The most anyone can hope for is damage control to know if there is concern of spreading the disease.

In a third-world-country like India, I fail to see where their government will come up with the cash to "humanely" test every ****ing stray dogs blood. Not to mention the anesthesia required to knock the creatures out.

Also, dog meat is quite tasty, stop being so small-minded.

And, from a friend (and I really mean this), stop starting debates like this. You're embarrassing yourself.

Think CUJO!!! Taras, if you saw these dogs they would be foaming at the mouth ,showing their teeth, and growling at you. Then it would chase you down and attack you. The dog won't even realise what it's doing at that point b/c the disease is attacking its brain.

They make hats/coats/gloves and many other things out of chinchillas. I have had two of them and like them alot. But when they slaughter a bunch of them to make a jacket for your girlfriend, I don't cry about it.

I would never eat a dog, period! And I don't think I embarrass myself at all. I say what I think is right. India is one of the fastest growing counties in the world they have money, but they just spend it in a wrong way kinda like US but US has much more money so its not so visiable.

And I'm ok with that. Sometimes as human beings, we make decisions based on survival. If I lived in a country where i had to be very careful of deadly disease ridden dogs, I would carry a gun on me, and put everyone of them down one by one.

I love dogs Taras, I really do. But in this country the article is from, the DOGS are equivelant to RATS! Too many and plagued with disease.

So, even though I do agree with you that it may seem inhumane. The simple fact is, they have a really big problem over there that needs to be dealt with...and they are. +1 for them!*applauds India's efforts*

Why does anyone bother to continue arguing, if that is his stance on the opinions of others???? Its like an addiction. Arguing with the illogical.
