Going to school for Auto body at the moment. I've got detailing experience and tools. Does anyone know of any body shops/collision centers in the metro that are hiring for body tech apprentices? Spent 3 months on Google waiting for a shop to post up an ad so I figured I'd ask around on my car groups if anyone knew anything. Thanks!
There are quite a few positions posted on Craigslist. Just search "auto body" and you'll see a ton of places looking for help. Some hiring for experienced techs but there are some apprentice-level jobs.
I've dealt with dealerships as a detailer. Not about to work at one for a career. Looking for small mom and pop shops that actually care about their employees. Thankfully I have an interview/job shadow at a small shop out in St. Paul. Going to check it out before I just go and walk into body shops and apply in person.
