so like the title says i changed spark plugs and now the car bogs at 3-4000 rpm or whenever i punch it a little i bought the plugs fr O'reily just oem ngk g plugs. CEL was on giving code of all 4 cylinders misfiring so that be the reason i changed it. then after the new plugs where on the CEL went off whoop whoop!! but then it ran like **** it started bogging like how i explained above so i re-gaped the plugs cleaned coil pack and then went for another test drive and same result. then this morning goin to work the CEL came back on and same bogging continues..... any ideas people...??? help please thanks.

Ok my bads for not being too detailed but my mods are just exhaust, intake, and piggy back ecu, and I think I got a turboxs boost controler which I just noticed haha.. The spark plugs were ngk platinum g's. So today as I left work the CEL was off. Idk y but yeah I had a little advice from one of our fellow members to try copper plugs and what do u know no more bog, but then seems like I'm still misfireing because the CEL blinks still. Now I just gotta find what is causeing the misfire..... Thanks for the help Nuke(nfperformance)!!!!!!!
My advice to you is get rid of half of your mods before you blow that car up. The TXS boost controller is probably the WORST thing for your car, unless you dont do any partial throttle boosting. The piggyback has to go, after 2 run cycles the stock ECU will tune around it and make it worthess (which it is anyways) Your car will run better with a custom tune from a local tuner.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but it seems to me that you're describing simultaneous misfire on all 4 in a given RPM range indicated by CELs? If you're getting CELs for misfire on all 4 simultaneously with fresh plugs while still driving the car, you're hot on the trail of turning your engine into large dirty paperweight. I'm with AWDimprezaL, remove that boost controller and piggyback and pursue tuning.
ok so i got the piggy back off now Nuke(NFperformance) helped me out a bit with the car it seems to run a bit better now but still the CEL is on it actually came on the day after disconnecting the piggy the bog seem to have stopped too btw.. car is running a bit better im goin to get it CEL checked again to see whether its still misfiring from all 4 cyclinders or not. thanks for ya inputs. thanks again Nuke for the help..!
There is no such thing as pre-gap, regardless of what the manufacturer says. You always gap your plugs before installing them. Go pull them out and gap them to the correct gap and I am willing to bet that fixes it.
