Maybe. I've been going the past two years but I get bored after about an hour. It's funny watching all the dip****s get speeding tickets though.
Haha, I haven't been this will be my first time! But I've heard it's like the other dyno events where all the kids think if it's loud it makes crazy horsepower.
See you there! Last year some kid with a Cobalt SS that was no longer boosted was really stoked about making 130hp at the wheels.
The non-vip parking is in a lot a ways away from the shop. They will be having a shuttle leaving every 15 minutes to transport people in between the lots.
Looks like there will be a group meeting up at Eden Prairie AMC movie theater @8:30am. Not sure who's all going to be there but i think id be a great place to meet up and cruise to Boost for Boobies!!
there are a bunch of us leaving from Boulder Taphouse in St. Cloud at 730, a few of us have wrx's/STi's, and then a bunch of other people in an assortment of different cars.
I'll probably hit the EP thing. Little worried on the scope and people being retards, but we'll see how it goes.
So does any money actually go to breast cancer research or is this another Susan G Komen type scam for "awareness"?
Yes the money goes to charity, I highly doubt MAP would embezzle money that was supposed to go to charity...
What time does this start/end? Would like come out too? Any one wants to meet up towards Woodbury area before heading there? We could plan on meeting all together in South St. Paul area? Just an idea
"Charity" is a very loose term and even if MAP wasn't embezzling the money, it absolutely doesn't mean that money is actually doing anything productive for breast cancer. Susan G Komen is a HUGE multi million $ "charity" for breast cancer and none of the money actually goes to research. It all goes to paying the salaries and events for the "charity." I'm not saying this is the case here but it really is something you should think about. More than likely this is just an excuse to get people out for a dyno day in the name of cancer "awareness." Pass.
Do your own research on Komen before deciding to give money to them, that's all I'm going to say about that. I'm still going because big meet on a nice day.
I am taking donations to my car fund for cancer awareness! For every dollar donated I will tell one person that cancer exists. Doing gods work.
