The additives can certainly harm your performance. There's a number of people on this board that have logged multiple brands of gas and found BP to be the best. All gas basically comes from the same spot, it's the additives that make them unique.

That said, BP recently either changed their additive package or just renamed it because it wasn't always called Invigorate.

Is there any official release as to that this is a "new" additive? The website just appears to be a marketing ploy.

I haven't noticed any difference in my car's timing recently, although I don't run a tune DD that pushes the timing envelope. However, I can tell you that when I was testing last fall, BP could run significantly more timing (like over 1*) when compared to a couple of the other brands of gas that I tested (iirc, I tested both shell and holiday).

    ha!

I haven't logged/tuned my car since at least last fall, lol. :eek4:

That being said, I should probably do a checkup one of these days, haha.

There isn't a BP in Shakopee or Mankato, which is lame. Have you guys tested 91 non-ox vs. 92? I think St. Peter has 92 non-ox. At least they did last time I stopped for petrol there.

Anything that comes out of St. Paul Park except for Holiday gas has the same additive mix according to my sources.

The only thing non-oxy gas gains you is gas mileage. Ethanol is a knock retardant, so running e10 gas will gain you power, often significantly. I have seen cars running 91 non-oxy having to run over 1.5* less timing then 92 e10.

I started getting gas at Sinclar (LOL), it's $3.87. But I don't have a turbo engine, so I am not sure it matters much. BP regular costs around 3.99-3.95.

All I see when I visit that site is "more performance". Obviously, since they say it's a better version over their old gas, they get to keep my money. Unfortunately, my butt dyno will do the talking until someone tunes with the new fuel and provides data results.
