Hi guys. According to the dealer my wife's car needs breaks and a 30K mile service. I worked with (should I say, assisted and watched) Scuba Steve on my breaks using Frozen Rotor parts and they've held up quite well. I'd love to do the same thing with her car and maybe this time I can actually remember the process. PM me if you're available and let me know what your rates are. Thanks! Matt
brakes really arn't hard at all if you are feeling ambitious. You can find youtube clips and tutorials online easily with a google search. I just did some brake work on my car the other day which was pretty easy. If you do attempt to do it urself I might be able to lend a hand. What kind of car does your wife have? What brake work are you doing - pads and/or rotors?
If you spell brakes as "breaks" you probably shouldn't do them yourself. LOL. But really, brakes aren't hard on most cars. Answers to the questions above will help.
The most difficult thing is bleeding brakes but if you have two people and understand the process, its relatively simple. Pads and Rotors are about as easy as changing oil.
