However, when we feel the member has crossed the line we have no problem giving them the boot. try getting away with this crap on any other car site and you would be banned immediately!

Steph, I see your side of this as well, but it was posted in OFF TOPIC, where it doesn't have to be related to cars. And Dave, this wasn't even close to some of the "riding the fence" topics that have been left alone. There was nothing offensive, and nowhere in the post did he say "You need to click on this link, your life depends on it!"
Looks to me like 999 people don't want him back. Fail. In all seriousness, it's a temp ban, he'll be back. Maybe in the mean time we could have some worthwhile threads in here. If you'd like to post worthless crap, go over to t3hw00t. At least I know what to expect over there, and am often pleasantly disappointed. So, who wants sausage?
I see both sides of this argument. No, this one wasn't as bad as some of his other ones. However, this was the proverbial "straw that broke the camel's back." And again, he probably wouldn't have been banned if he at least contributed SOME worthwhile stuff in the last few months. Then again, was this post a ban-worthy post? In my opinion, no. I'll leave it at that.
