I haven't been able to talk to our body shop about a discount. Things get tricky there because they mostly work with insurance companies rather than a paying customer. Also, their pricing/labor is different than ours, so I'm not sure if I'd be able to work something out with them.

John, no luck yet on the bulb. I'll keep checking to see what I can find.

Martin: The biggest rear sway I can find is off of a 99 Outback, it's an 18. The part number is 20540AC090 and your cost is 107.62 + tax. The part number for the bushings is 21047GA671 and you're at 7.92 each. I'd have to order them in.

    Hi Brian,

Hoping you can quote some parts, victim is a 02 WRX (wife's) and has cracks in both cylinder heads.

    Please quote:

both heads, (I assume they come as bare castings)
8 each intake and exhaust valves
Gasket set (head set if available, or complete)

    thanks!

    Alright Tim, here ya go:

    L Head: 11039AB361 514.48
    R Head: 11063AA841 514.48

The pricing on those isn't quite 20% off, there isn't enough markup for that so we split the difference between cost and list. We do the same thing for engine shops. For some reason Subaru doesn't mark up things like shortblocks, heads and transmissions very much.

Intake Valve: 13201AA391 13.22 each (5 in stock)
Exhaust Valve: 13202AA401 16.50 each (7 in stock)
Gasket Set: 10105AA351 247.78 in stock

That's the complete gasket set for the engine. Let me know if you just want the head gaskets/valve covers, etc. Those prices are without tax. Thanks, Brian

    Post whore! J/K ;)

Alright, here's the whole price breakdown for everything in there, in case you need more than just the spindle...

Axle nut: 28044AA000 3.50 in stock
Rt Rear Axle Housing: 28411AA000 134.54 special order
Oil Seal: 28015AA090 8.36 in stock
Oil Seal: 28015AA100 8.10 in stock
Oil Seal: 28015AA110 9.00 in stock
    Bearing: 28016AA030 59.60 in stock
Snap Ring: 28035AA040 4.76 in stock
    Hub: 28469FE000 95.96 in stock

That's everything in that rear assembly. I'm not sure how much you'll need to replace, but if you tweaked that housing enough you'll probably find that the bearing got damaged also. Just let me know what you need. Thanks!

    Hey Brian

I've been looking for a decent price for the OEM lip kit for 02-03 wrx's but haven't fuond a cheap price as of yet. Considering the parts are OEM I guess there just won't be a cheap price on them. Just wondering if BP Subaru could order these parts and how much they are? I'd need the front and rear lips. Also is there a subaru website that iists these parts so that I wouldn't have to bug ya and for other OEM parts that I could possibly add?

Thanks Brian, car is running great and I will soon be moving to Maple Grove right up the road from the BP store so I might be swinging oil changes and what not in the very near future. And a test drive or two, why not.

Forgot, here's a link to a pic of what i'm looking for if I wasn't clear above.

    Alright, here we go:

Paul: They don't make the OEM front lip/rear lip in MBP, so this part number is for a white one. You'll need to get them repainted to match your car.

    Front: E2410FE201WG 307.71 Sp Ord
    Rear: E5610FE200WG 383.57 Sp Ord
    Fog Covers: ST577104S000

    Phi11:
Front grille: 91061AC300 183.98 Sp Ord

Matt: I can't find it in the catalog. Can you get me some more info? What kind of car is the motor from? Are there any numbers on the part itself? Thanks, Brian

Thanks for the quote I'll have to save them pennies up here, maybe for summer. Have a good one!

Thats a bummer they don't make them in MBP. I suppose they only have blue, white and silver or something, lame.

    Have a good one

Do you guys have any access to just some rattle cans of Subaru colors?
i'm painting my helmet, and i think it would look really cool in WR Blue with some yellow accents.

Lue: I'll post them up tomorrow when I get to work.

Shane, We don't have rattle cans of the paint. However, there is a place on Central Ave south of 694 called Welle Auto Supply. They can mix up a can for you right there, and they do good work. It's about 20 bucks for a spray can, and they do a great job of matching the color. You may want to bring your paint code (O2C is WRB, IIRC) and they'll get it mixed for you. I've still got a can of Sedona Red, it's what I used on my fog covers.

Dizmal, we actually close at 6pm but I'm the closer so I'll be there until then. If you want, give me a ring tomorrow and we can either do the transaction over the phone and I can leave it with the receptionist, or we can figure something else out. I've got to run after work because I'm helping out our new firefighter class with ladders, they needed someone to run the Aerial. Just let me know. Thanks!
