    Have you seen the SPT turbo heat shield for the Impreza? Does it look like a worthwhile part? As I understand it, it's in addition to the OEM shield...

    I haven't seen one personally here yet, we haven't ordered any in but I've heard good things about them. Can't hurt having something else between the turbo and the rest of the engine bay.

    Big Thank you to BP Subaru, Holly & Brian!

    I just wanted to pass along a thank you for the great experience I had on Tuesday afternoon. I brought my new car in for its first visit for a simple oil change and tire rotation. This was my first experience with BP Subaru's service department and I have to say I was very impressed! I was taken care of by Holly and she was very professional. She even came to me in the waiting area to let me know that she was done with her shift and that the other service advisor's would be sure and take care of me. I also had to be sure and say "Hello" to Brian or my sister would be mad. I look forward to many more visits and wanted to thank Holly, Brian and the rest of the team there at Brooklyn Park Subaru! :biggrin:

    I was very surprised when my dad and my brother both decided to switch from VW to Subaru in the last 12 months.

    Brian, they both rave about the good service they get at BP. You'd see more of me if I didn't live so far North. Speaking of which, I'll probably be in next weekend for another air filter and a cabin air filter.

    The part number is 27540FE040 and the club price is 119.98. Retail is 150.28. I've got to order it in, but I could have it here by Monday. Labor is around 1.5 hours, shop rate is 118 IIRC. You get 10% off service as well.

    Hey Brian, I need a couple of plastic grommets. Two of them hold that plastic engine cover in place (its the two in the front). The other ones I need (2 of) are underneath the car right under the door sills. They hold the plastic trim in place from the bottom. 05 LGT...make sense?

    I've got plenty of both in stock :)

    The cover clips are a 909140007 and they're 1.48 each (retail 3.33). I've got 37 of them, so act fast ;)

    The clips for under the rocker covers are 909140002 and they're 1.42 each (retail 3.21) and I've got 7 of them here. Thanks!

    Honestly, up until recently we didn't have much of a way to track that short of pulling up every account seperately. We've started an actual account for the MN Subaru guys and we can track things like that, I'll talk to Lisa and try to pull up a monthly total one of these days and calculate the savings. That should give us an idea :)

    The engine cover ones are too big. The two remaining ones that i do have currently holding that cover on have a phillips slot on top of them..if that helps you.

    Silver03: Sorry about that! The phillips head ones are a 909130067 and they're .83 each. I've got a bunch on hand, I can bring them to you at Firestone if you want so you don't need to make another trip.

    MNDude: What did you mean by a tuneup? Just plugs/fuel filter/air filter/oil change?
