bypass valve question

is it suppose to be THAT quiet? i mean..i can hear it whining up, but then when i shift, its just quiet..is that normal? just wondering:biggrin:

 

if you have the stock air box then yes

i got the Forge one and it soudns really nice between the shifts.

 

You wanna hear mine?? I can hear it just fine.....it's on LIMP MODE, no turbo inlet...venting to atmoshphere.

taras is yours the 100% recirculating? is loud enough to hear it from the out side ?

Yeah mine is 100% recirculating. You cant hear it when revving up the engine or when lifting of the gas under low boost. But when you are over 5-10psi and lifting of it really sounds nice. yea its a very distinct sound.

 

the cling sound that you hear is the sound of the pistk inside the valve hitting the top of itself. It sounds cool In person

 

thats tight i might have to get one!
