1996 Legacy 2.5 started to develop this problem this summer. After a drive, it will refuse to start not until 20-30 mins. Does not do it all the time but has gotten worse. I've replaces the coolant temp but to no avail.

Are you positive it's only when warm? My friend had a similar issue and it was the fuel pump.

Is it getting horrible gas mileage? Pull the vaccume line off of the fuel pressure regulator, see if any gas comes ut.

Start with figuring out whether is has no spark or no fuel when it doesn't start
