Car Insurance....Holy Balls! Mine got High!-Who U Using?

FYI another factor that goes into insurance rates is how likely is your car to be stolen.

My rates with USAA have always been pretty low. I have $250 deductible and the above the minimum coverage dollar amount. My insurance was about $60-70 a month for my 04 wrx, 04 sti, and 13 wrx(didn't own them all at once). I have a clean driving record. Now the insurance for a ralliart or an evo was outrageous. It jumped to around $250 a month.

 

I'll chime in here...I was with American Family for over 10 years with my family. I used to price shop every year or two, and competitors were always very similar in terms of pricing.

Except this year. I did a quote with esurance, and my 6 month premium for full coverage on both cars was $600 cheaper than what I was paying before. That made me pretty happy, and the agent at esurance was very helpful and not too pushy, so I switched after 10+ years with AmFam.
