lulz. Real-time stance mod FTW. Contact patch... wassat? I don't even want to know how he managed to lose a spring. Actually, yes I do...
That truck does some things that defies physics. And I find it hard to believe that the chick was actually sprayed by a shower of gravel... Anyway, nice vid, thanks for posting!
I wish I could drive that fast and feel confident that I won't crash. I probably **** my pants too if I was going that fast and the axle broke.
concentration and reaction is everything. Feeling how the car reacts and applying the right technique at the right moment takes a lot of skills and that I do not have. Maybe if I drove as hard and as long as you did I would have a 1/3 of your skill.
I'm not that good or that fast, just ask my wife, I get hit every time in kickboxing. Anyone can get good and get good fast quickly if they would only see that what they really just need to do is start working with the basics, no additional parts or batteries needed lol
I'm going to give you guys a car MOVIE: Turbos and Temples - Mighty Car Mods Feature Film The MightyCarMods guys go to Japan for a road trip where they delv into both the car, and the overall culture of japan. That, and they drive a V6 STI and a turbo Kei SUV.. so pretty cool. if you're not familiar with MightyCarMods, they're a couple of aussie guys who are generally quite funny, and have a very good spin on mod videos. Zombie car, intentionally ricing out a civic, but also building some cool normal mods too.
The EV SLS There are a lot of cool things about this video. Some of the technology is just mind boggling.
yep mcm always cool and fun to watch.....I watched all their clip, really good for people who DIY stuff...
http://jalopnik.com/watch-this-idiot-kid-light-his-miata-and-himself-on-fir-484891810 Fitting for a Miata. LOL.
If you play both these videos at the same time, it sounds like they're racing each other, by mouth! bahahaha
Holy crap!!! So much went wrong in this video!! Where do I start!? Oh and the HUGE spark that warned you, ment STOP!!
If you haven't tried it yet you should. A couple of runs from this weekend at the season autocross opener. Great to see the contingency from ND show up and make some runs!
I am just using Power Director. The hardest part is trying to sync the 2 cameras so the video starts in the same place. It looks very weird when I'm off even a couple of frames. I don't think I have these perfect, but I'm close.
When lining up music to video .... or video to video I just keep zooming in to expand the timeline. It really helps. BTW - great videos
I zoom in to the timeline to try to find the exact frame when I see the car move. This gets a little harder from the in car camera as the frame of reference is a little harder to see. Even using the GoPro remote, both cameras don't usually start at the same time, so the times are off on the raw video. Thanks for the comments, it's fun to see the difference in the driving over the last couple of years.
Oh, fancy... you have remotes... They seem like an awesome idea. I would really like to get a few more GoPros for car stuff. Having 2 or 3 makes driving videos so much better. EDIT: Just found this RedBull Drift Video
Bahaha this reminds of when I got my first Saabaru...which was also my first manual car. I let my mom drive it when I brought it home (after me already owning it for a couple months) and she totally showed me up!
Just saw this on IWSTi yesterday...there is hope for the STi! Who needs an Evo when you can keep up with a Ferrari?! Here's the thread, in case anyone is curious. Apparently he has a built motor but was running stock boost for break-in. Fully built suspension though...and some very smooth, consistent driving. Crank up the boost, and I'd bargain to say he would have caught him. http://www.iwsti.com/forums/video-collection/257177-sti-trying-keep-up-ferrari.html
Had the passenger hold my go pro. For some odd reason i didnt feel like riding passenger this round... Poor 2013 Genesis coupe with only 12,xxx miles....
