are you rallying this sunday or just watching...ide love to ride along if your rallying cant guarantee ill be a ton of help though :laugh:

 

im watching but if u bring a helmet most people if u ask nicely will allow you to ride with them

I won't have an empty seat on the way to the race, but it will be empty during the race. If anyone that comes down and helps work the event is more than welcome to ride along with me on one of my runs. Granted i don't have an AWD monster, and I'm not a world class driver. But an MR2 going sideways can be fun to ride in too. I'll bring a spare, large helmet with me. The only thing I ask is that if you want a ride, you volunteer to help at the rallycross if you're not racing.

 

I could also be persuaded to take a few people for a ride as long as they are out working the course throughout the day.

 

same with me and if they promise not to yell and scream, "stop! were going to die" "let me out right now" ...

 

I would run my classic Saab 900 Turbo, but I fear it would leave pieces all over the track. So instead, I will be shooting photos.

I have an extra battery now, so I should be able to actually shoot through the whole event this time. Usually I get about 1000 photos in by lunch and then my battery is dead.

Course is all planned and the event is a go. Dave and I checked on the conditions this afternoon and all I can say is it will be muddy and slick. Break out the pressure washers for a post event clean up. See you all down there bright and early. I won't be there for the caravan because we will be setting up early. Good times.

too much rain will degrade that site and you won't get as many runs in. soft ground is soft. have fun everyone, I'm going to be ohming out injectors all day

 

Remember: Watch your speed on the way to and from the event. Do not take 40th to the event. Turn off on 30th. The land owner that is kind enough to let us use the site wants to keep traffic off of 40th.
